I find it hard to imagine a persistent pseudonymized email that is the same across all domains, as remaining opaque. You know one, you know them all.

But lets be clear, how we use that term is a legal issue

I will continue to argue that a persistent identifier, of lasting duration, for a unique registrant, is not properly pseudonymized.

I understand that LEAs and cyber researchers want to know, and if they pass a balancing test they CAN know, but trying to give them access to reverse directory info through definitional shenanigans is unworthy of our efforts

Is there a difference in law between the terms legal person and legal entity in Europe?

In Germany there is none.

And do we explain these terms in our definitions?

I suspect they need clarification for a North American audience

I agree with Matthew. You are asking them to estimate legal risk and they really are not in a position to understand which individuals might be implicated across jurisdictions

( I do understand that they do this for a living, but this is a rather arcane field which they are not familiar with)

On an administrative issue: the google documents are not accessible to anyone who is not on the team, this is not the way we normally operate. Can we open those docs for viewing, to make it easier for us to share with our teams?

As we approach the top of the hour, would the Legal Committee benefit from re-purposing the Thursday plenary to give you another 90 minutes this week? It's unclear that the plenary will have made progress on homework. It seems the legal questions are really pre-cursors for the plenary making progress.
