The ccNSO DNS Abuse Standing Committee (DASC) wishes to better understand the ccTLD landscape when it comes to DNS Abuse, and to determine how to best serve ccTLDs. The DASC launched a survey among members of the ccNSO and other ccTLD managers.

Certain ccTLDs share coincidement with gTLDs for conventional naming purposes for businesses and organisations; what implications exist for the choice of use of a ccTLD for convention in naming over that of a gTLD in terms of ownership, oversight, and enforcement. For example the implications of a media company utilising .tv a country specific TLD simply for the naming purposes and the implcations on government relations towards speech.
