It seems that DoH and/or DoT complements DNSSEC? However, can one use it independently from DNSSEC? Is its implementation more or less difficult based on one's setup?

Hi Holly, Given some Governments are increasingly seeking to direct ISPs in their country to filter and block via DNS access to some Internet resources - will this inevitably drive users to be more comfortable with a DOH solution where they feel they have more user control. I can imagine for example that people might use different browsers for different purposes - e.g one browser for work, and one browser for accessing things like movies or TV shows etc that may not be available in a particular country
Vrikson Acosta
01:19:09
What is it that Geoff said that Chrome does not have, or is dealing with, if I heard right?
Vrikson Acosta
01:21:12
No @Alfredo, less than an hour. I was in the introductory meeting at VSIG that you taught :)

<QUESTION>: DoH is at the Application Layer. Can it be built on DoT if one desires ? - Dr. T V Gopal, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, College of Engineering, Guindy Campus, Anna University, Chennai,India
Roberto
01:24:01
@Bruce - is this not ultimately dependent on whether you trust more your government or a multinational? I believe that there are also cultural differences that lead people to give different answers in different geopolitical environments
Vrikson Acosta
01:24:11
Thank you Geoff, your explanation was great :)
