Jim I think they're still planning to release the reports at the end of the relevant month, so I expect we won't see any changes until the January report at the end of Jan.

Anyone besides me? I've weighed in... :)

Also chaired the last call where we started this. :)

I'm not sure "mitigation" strategies can be reflected in groupings with limited meta data. For example, pricing is a possible vector for understanding abuse trends, but pricing isn't likely available metadata (especially ephemeral pricing)

+1 Rick. I think the next step is to get into the weeds with a list of TLDs and see if we can make headway.

general pricings are already available from registrars..some of them are very transparent
Kristine Dorrain (Amazon Registry)
42:42
Richard, we've decided that we need to stay away from pricing now for a few reasons (including the one you moted)

Richard Roberto

@Kristine, makes sense to stay away from it, but that's just one example
Richard Roberto
45:14
I think my point is that there's limited metadata so the value of grouping along mitigation strategies is also going to be limited?
Richard Roberto
58:53
OK, so for now, lack of objection is sufficient?
James Galvin (Afilias)
01:01:53
i would say yes Richard.
Richard Roberto
01:05:21
no objection

Jim I'll jump in with my suggestion we discussed when you're ready. :)
Matthias Pfeifer dot.berlin
01:13:22
RBLs usally dont track abuse mitiation..one of the problem of DAAR reports
Richard Roberto
01:16:05
I agree, connecting the dots between mitigation actions taken by a Registry and the resulting impact on domains (in aggregate)
Richard Roberto
01:16:19
is not straight forward
Richard Roberto
01:19:16
+1
Richard Roberto
01:20:43
mitigation may not be evident in the feeds ...
