As a reminder, Margie’s original draft question appears in the “REWORK” section.
Tatiana Tropina (NCSG)
35:44
I’d agree with Becky’s straightforward wording
Caitlin Tubergen
37:47
@Becky - I can take an action item to send your proposed draft to the Legal Committee for review.
Brian King (IPC - MarkMonitor)
40:19
I could use some time to review first
Brian King (IPC - MarkMonitor)
40:31
Thanks
Matthew Crossman (RySG)
40:42

Caitlin Tubergen
01:03:02
Yes
Volker Greimann (RrSG)
01:06:56
Importance to the data subject, obviously
Volker Greimann (RrSG)
01:13:12
Margie, huh?
Margie Milam (BC)
01:15:04
from the ICO website re accuracy: A business that is closing down recommends a member of staff to another organisation. Assuming the two employers know each other, it may be reasonable for the organisation to which the recommendation is made to accept assurances about the individual’s work experience at face value. However, if a particular skill or qualification is needed for the new job role, the organisation needs to make appropriate checks.

01:16:59
The world needs more "suggestions to move us forward" Matthew!
Volker Greimann (RrSG)
01:18:16
Duplicate question?
Laureen Kapin (GAC)
01:18:36
Thanks for taking the GAC input on accuracy into account in reformulating this question re: accuracy.
Matthew Crossman (RySG)
01:21:39
Yeah I think I can try to capture all of these pieces
Brian King (IPC - MarkMonitor)
01:24:16
Unfortunately I need to drop now. Please don't assign me too much homework :-)
Margie Milam (BC)
01:25:29
I have to drop in 1/2 hour
Becky Burr (Chair)
01:25:59
We will stop by then Margie. Brian, we will try to be restrained but …
Matthew Crossman (RySG)
01:29:55
This is linked to the question above, I can incorporate it
Volker Greimann
01:30:37
sorry, line dropped due to laptop battery dying
Thomas Rickert (ISPCP)
01:34:10
Fun fact: The Danish seem to have a lot of issues with dead registrants. There are registers of dead citizens and that data is then used to provide „accurate“ registration data :-)
Volker Greimann
01:35:01
makes sense. the dead won't complain about the abuse of their data
Volker Greimann
01:35:59
.eu policies are based on European Regulations specifically for .eu
Thomas Rickert (ISPCP)
01:36:05
We are about to ask the law firm what really is a policy question. I think it is not a difficult legal question. The issue is that the legal reality is not to everyone’s liking.
Volker Greimann (RrSG)
01:36:10
so not transferable to other TLDs
Tatiana Tropina (NCSG)
01:36:15
agree Thomas
Volker Greimann (RrSG)
01:36:25
+1 Thomas
Tatiana Tropina (NCSG)
01:37:26
I agree that it shouldn’t be asked now
Matthew Crossman (RySG)
01:46:05
Ah thank you Caitlin, that is what I was recalling
Margie Milam (BC)
01:47:36
